INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
Join our diverse student body and get one step closer to an exciting career in the fashion industry.
STEP ONE:
Look over our admission requirements and submit your application.
See if you qualify for Financial Aid, scholarships, or grants. See more international admission information.
STEP TWO:
Complete the English and math requirements by either transferring your English & math credits or taking the self-evaluation tests. After completion you should be able to enroll in the appropriate APPRL skill development course. If you are asked for a permission code, email our departmental advisor, Nicholas Kaatz <Nicholas.Kaatz@Seattlecolleges.edu>, with the section that you would like to be enrolled in and he will give you a permission code.
The pre-requisite series courses start with APPRL 096 or APPRL 099 [condensed summer intensive]. Learn more about our skill development courses.
(optional) Enhance your computer skills by taking a BTM 111 course at Seattle Central College, where you'll learn essential computer and Microsoft program skills to help you thrive in our two-year program.
STEP THREE:
When you have completed English and math requirements, email Seattle Central College advisor Nicholas Kaatz <Nicholas.Kaatz@Seattlecolleges.edu> to be placed on the program admissions list. Please include your ctcLink number and attach transcripts or placement test results.
STEP FOUR:
Once you’ve completed all the requirements, you’re ready to enroll in our Apparel Design and Development program in the fall. After successful completion of APPRL 100 or APPRL 099, look for an email with registration instructions. Make sure your current email is on file with the AHSS office <ahss.central@seattlecolleges.edu>. We will send important information about orientation and program preparation via email.
Registration emails are typically sent at the end of the spring and summer quarters and students must respond to save their place in the program.
