HEATHER ZAGER

INSTRUCTOR

Heather Zager graduated from the School of Apparel Design and Development in 2016 and later founded MADE Apparel Services, a sewn product development studio supporting designers, inventors, and makers as they bring their ideas into production.

Her work in product development directly informs her teaching at Seattle Central College, where she teaches how sewn goods move from initial design through development and into production. Drawing from real-world experience, she helps students develop patterns properly and evaluate fit accurately, while building a clearer understanding of how products are constructed and where challenges typically arise. She is particularly focused on helping students understand how decisions made early in development carry through to affect production outcomes..
