FIRST TIME OR RETURNING DOMESTIC APPLICANTS
Whether you're a recent high school graduate, transferring from another institution, or returning to continue your education, these steps will help guide you toward an exciting career in the fashion industry.
STEP ONE:
Apply & Enroll at Seattle Central College. See if you qualify for financial aid, scholarships, or grants.
STEP TWO:
Complete English and Math requirements. Once you have transferred English & Math credits or taken the self-evaluation tests, you should be able to enroll in the appropriate APPRL skill development course. If you are asked for a permission code, email Nicholas.Kaatz@Seattlecolleges.edu with the section of the APPRL 096 or 099 that you would like to be enrolled in and he will give you a permission code.

(optional) Enhance your computer skills by taking a BTM 111 course at Seattle Central College, where you'll learn essential computer and Microsoft program skills to help you thrive in our two-year program.
STEP THREE:
Email Seattle Central College advisor Nicholas Kaatz Nicholas.Kaatz@Seattlecolleges.edu to get a file started.
STEP FOUR:
Once you’ve completed all the requirements, you’re ready to enroll in our Apparel Design and Development program in the Fall! Simply reach out to our AHSS office at ahss.central@seattlecolleges.edu, and we’ll send you your registration details via email. Registration emails are typically sent at the end of the Spring and Summer quarters and students must respond to save their place in the program. Make sure to continue checking your emails for important information about orientation and program preparation.
